Despite the County and State lifting most restrictions moving into the Yellow Tier, the City’s Aquatic Center will remain closed indefinitely until it can return to acceptable operational levels.
As we have shared in previous issues of the Profile, the City is actively seeking funding to help pay for the necessary repairs and refurbishments at the Aquatic Center. Over the past few years, the Pool has been operating within the guidelines of the Health Department, however, City staff identified areas in which repairs are necessary in order to keep the Center operating safely and comfortably.
The Aquatic Center is scheduled for repairs later this season with the hopes of having all necessary repairs and refurbishments made by the next Aquatic Season.
